Looking back on my #music year 2022 #Gardna's second album "Time & Space" is a shape-shifting piece of #bassmusic, not only to #Reggae Legend #DonLetts. The #Bristol MC did that in cooperation with comrades like #Nextman, #Kreed, #EvaLazarus, #CatchingCairo and #DRS. Don't miss to tune in!

Rob Smith discribes "hidden dubs, vol. 1" himself as a "raw collection, inspired by the sounds of the late seventies and early eighties (which) is #dubwise in the original sense."
There is nothing more to say about this fine dubs I can't get enough of!

The other day I came across the first edition of the compilation series "Jungle To The World" from 2015, curated by Liondub and Marcus Visionary. I would like to recommend this excellently compiled collection of 13 #raggajungle bangers to you.
For me as a big #RootsReggae fan, especially the tracks with Johnny Osbourne and Sugar Minott are just to kneel down. To put it in a nutshell, jungle massive!

The #DubPistols are back with their new album "Frontline" - a reminiscence of the western passion in #rootsreggae. Musically, the album oscillates between #reggae, #dancehall and #jungle with numerous guests. Among them #Horseman, #NattyCampbell, #CheshireCat, the #Freestylers or the fantastic #RaggaTwins.
Finally, I've a question 4 u. Are the DP with their riddim quotes a typical boomer band or do people still listen to and love them even in #GenerationY?
For some time now, "A Distant Beat" by Joe Yorke & The Cooperators has been my absolute favourite album, reliably getting me through the day and night.
Joe's falsetto and the fresh #reggae sound of the cooperators are awesome.
By the way, "What Kind of World" is the reggae song for the #climatemovement! #myriddims #Bristol

A little overdue is my post on the designated summer banger "So tell me ..." by #NiaArchive. But the other tracks on her EP "Sunrise Bang Ur Head Against tha Wall" are also well worth listening and dancing to.

#ReggaeRoast have released their second studio album "More Fire".
In cooperation with Horace Andy, Johnny Clarke, Gappy Ranks, Soom T, Horseman, Mr Williamz and some others, they have once again succeeded in giving the #roots #reggae of the golden 70s a contemporary form.
Friday night. In the mood for drum and bass that gets straight to your hips?!
For this purpose #LondonElektricity recently launched their "Billion Dollar Remixes" album. Deejays and producers like #ConradSubs, #Dogger & #Mindstate or #Mozey have contributed remixes for it. Many tracks feature the voices of #LianeCarroll or #RobertOwens. Wonderful!

While my summer 2023 takes care of reproducing my labour, "Fighting For Justice" by #Daman and #JoeYorke has become my current favourite song - a different kind of summer hit.

Ranking Magoo, Eskimo Fox and Crucial Tony are back reunited as #CreationRebel. Their new album is #reggae at its best - great tunes & clear political statements. With Hostile Environment, the British reggae legends from the #Windrush generation skewer the inhuman migration policy of the extreme right-wing #Tory government. Adrian #Sherwood is on board as producer as well as Prince Far I with some posthumous samples.
Reggae becomes #punk again!

With #Hopeless, Joe Yorke has just released his third album - within 12 months! The genre mix is a bit broader this time. I'm blown away once again
